Dr Doger would inject local anaesthetic before any pain relief injections. Therefore once the skin is numb you should not feel pain. However you would feel numb in that area due to the local anaesthetic.

Most of these injections can be performed under general anaesthesia as well. Dr Rob O'Brien is a Consultant Anaesthetist who works with Dr Doger. Dr O'Brien will administer you a general anaesthetic if you wish to be totally asleep during the procedure.

Yes you can still have the injections, however the drug(s) may need to be stopped. Kindly get a complete list of your medications to the consultation. Dr Doger would advise you how long the drug(s) need to be stopped for and when they can be restarted after the procedure. Every patient has to be individually assessed and managed.

Yes Dr Doger is accredited by all major insurers and is BUPA fee assured. However you should inform your insurer and seek approval prior to the consultation.

Some of the procedures can be carried out in the Outpatient Clinic itself while procedures that require X-Ray guidance are carried out in the theatre suite at the following locations.
