I was referred to Dr Doger (by doctors at ministry of defence) for diagnostic intervention services for a chronic knee issue. Following the initial diagnostic procedure, I experienced significant pain relief albeit for a limited period of time. Subsequently I was recalled for a definitive procedure about a month ago. Since the procedure I have returned to increased level of personal fitness which has added to my overall quality of life. I visited Dr Doger’s Clinic to have advice on relieving severe pain arising from my spine. He identified the source of my pain and following a MRI lumbar/sacral scan will perform a nerve block. In addition to this, he reviewed my analgesic medication and made appropriate recommendations to my GP (which he has acted upon) and have been effective.

I was very impressed with Dr Doger, how he handled my mothers case, within the first appointment he knew exactly what the problem was, and my mother is feeling better with the treatment he has given her.

The service provided by all staff and Dr Doger was of very high standard. He explained everything very well including all the options that were available to me.

I have found the stellate ganglion blocks to be overall helpful for my long covid. The first set gave me a bit more energy and I was able to start building up walking outside the house the following week. This wore off within a few weeks, but I was able to resume walking again after getting the second set (this time with pulsed radiofrequency to hopefully make it last longer).

I got several more sets 1-2 months apart – over this time, my long COVID gradually improved, although I cannot say if this is due to the blocks or other interventions as it was so gradual. The last block, however, provided another discernible step up in my health. It has not been a miracle cure, but I am glad to have received these blocks / pulsed radio frequency. I hope this helps (other patients).

I would like to take a moment to comment on the last 6 months whilst under your care for pain control.

I was referred to you following uncontrollable pain due to multiple fractures in my back associated with the cancer. At that time my pain control was very poor and consisted of liquid morphine which resulted in several associated issues.

Your diagnosis and management resulted in significant reduction in the pain and associated anxiety.

I am currently in a state of reduction of all medications as the pain is either zero or mild aches following 8 months combined treatment with myeloma.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and help whilst I was at my lowest point.

I was very happy with the care I received. Although I was a bit nervous, I was made to feel at ease.

I found Dr Doger very sympathetic and understanding. He has dealt with my problems to date and been most forthcoming about ways to proceed from here. Generally, a good and positive experience.

I would like to thank Dr Doger for his help and advice in reducing the pain experienced in both my feet. I am trying to avoid a fusion surgery of the top bones in both feet for as long as possible. Dr Doger has prescribed a pill and injected both feet with a steroid which is helping me manage the pain.
