I attended Dr Doger’s clinic at Little Aston Hospital as I had a bulging disc and a trapped sciatic nerve. He suggested injections which has helped with pain relief. I have reduced my 3 different types of medications significantly from 17 tablets a day to just 1 tablet now. Dr Doger was incredibly caring and understanding, explaining everything along the way. He moved things along very quickly (as my pain had been quite severe for almost 4 months prior to seeing him) and recognised the pain I was in. I can recommend him as an excellent consultant.

Having been in extreme pain and discomfort for over 4 weeks with back problems, I had a referral through BUPA to see Dr Doger who recommended either medication or steroid injections into the nerve root. I would like to take a moment to comment on the last 6 months whilst under your care for pain control.
I was referred to you following uncontrollable pain due to multiple fractures in my back associated with the cancer. At that time my pain control was very poor and consisted of liquid morphine which resulted in several associated issues.
Your diagnosis and management resulted in significant reduction in the pain and associated anxiety.
I am currently in a state of reduction of all medications as the pain is either zero or mild aches following 8 months combined treatment with myeloma.
